Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Assist in creating and implementing support plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide Direct Support: Offer one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them manage their behaviour and emotions.
  • Monitor and Record Progress: Regularly observe and document students' progress, celebrating their achievements and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Participate in meetings and discussions, sharing insights and strategies to support students' growth.
  • Promote Inclusivity: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
  • Engage and Motivate Students: Use various techniques to engage and inspire students, making learning an enjoyable experience.
  • Maintain Communication: Keep accurate records and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other relevant parties.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish strong, supportive relationships with students and staff.
  • Patience and Empathy: A genuine passion for supporting students, demonstrating patience and empathy.

To Work With Us as an Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA), You Will Need:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
