About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner with substantial nursery experience to join a highly committed early years team. This role is central to creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment where children can explore, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality provision in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Plan for and extend children's learning through purposeful play and enriching interactions.
  • Work confidently with small groups to support learning and development.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, caring environment that promotes independence and well-being.
  • Attend to children's personal care needs, including nappy changing.
  • Ensure the setting is prepared and welcoming before children arrive.
Requirements
  • A DfE-recognised Early Years qualification is essential (to be counted in ratios).
  • Extensive nursery experience - this role is not suited to candidates whose backgrounds are primarily in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and extend children's learning through high-quality provision.
  • Reliability and professionalism - working hours are before 8:30am until around 4pm.
