A splendid opportunity has arisen for a skilled practitioner to join a dedicated Early Help team, providing intensive support to children and families with multiple and complex needs. This role calls for an individual with a genuine passion for improving life chances and fostering resilience within households.

The Role
  • Deliver holistic, child-centred family assessments using evidence-based tools.
  • Provide structured support to parents and carers, both in the home and within group settings.
  • Act as Lead Professional, coordinating multi-agency input and contributing to team‑around‑the‑child meetings.
  • Support families with challenges such as parenting, housing, finances, and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest safeguarding standards.
About You
  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in childcare, education, health, social care or similar.
  • Significant experience working directly with children and families.
  • A strong understanding of child development, equalities, trauma‑informed practice, and safeguarding.
  • Skilled in delivering parenting support and managing a varied caseload.
  • Confident working collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary partners.
