The post is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, covering maternity leave.
Whilst experience of working with Allocate and Healthroster software is preferable, training on the job will be provided.
To support the Electronic Rostering Manager with the daily management of the Trust's Electronic Rostering System.
To provide administrative support to the E Rostering team, assisting with the on‑going development of electronic rostering by ensuring accurate administration systems are adopted, maintained and managed.

Support Trust staff in using all aspects of the electronic rostering system.
Responsible for inputting data into the E‑Rostering system to include setting up new starters, implementing contract variations, processing leavers and preparing information for the weekly and monthly payroll interface files.
Identifying and challenging where potential discrepancies may have been made on Easy/ESR and notifying the appropriate managers/payroll.
Maintain accurate and complete records relating to all aspects of E‑Rostering including managing the training database as required.
Provide effective communications via a number of methods with Trust Staff on matters relating to E Rostering when deemed necessary by the team.
Liaises with users of the electronic rostering system to resolve errors and problems they experience whilst using the system.
Assists with the maintenance and support of any new modules or systems, including but not limited to Timeclocks, and the Empactis interface, which are implemented by and managed by the Electronic Rostering Team.
Will be expected to work across multiple sites including, but not limited to, County Site and Royal Stoke site.
Lead on the rotations of students who are assigned onto the system.
Complete complex net hour reviews ensuring staff hours are correct and any discrepancies are reported to and actioned by Ward Unit Managers.
Objectively deal with difficult situations including queries from staff on rostering and Trust Policy interpretation and have the ability to tackle and resolve difficult issues with tact and sensitivity.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
