Overview

We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, quick to learn, and able to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
• Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock locations.
• Conduct materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and preparing items for dispatch.
• Assist with heavy lifting as required, following safety protocols to minimise risk of injury.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders.
• Using scanners.
• Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is essential, however full training will be given.
• Must be smart, attentive, and able to think quickly.
• Good level of English (written and verbal).
• Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous for efficient inventory management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods is required.
• A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem‑solving is essential for success in this role.

Location: Brough, HU15
Hours: Monday to Friday; from December some weekends will be required
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour (with potential pay increase for the right candidate)
Expected Hours: 37.50 – 50 per week
