E-commerce Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5pm, Friday: 9am – 4pm

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised E-commerce Assistant to join our Retail E-commerce team at PPG Architectural Coatings on a 9-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced digital environment, supporting key operational tasks across our online retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service by managing queries from online platforms.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage customer returns.
  • Raise credits and collections in SAP as required.
  • Support daily performance communications across accounts.
  • Take accurate and timely meeting minutes.
  • Monitor chargebacks and circulate relevant updates to the wider team.
  • Assist with digital merchandising, including uploading assets and copy to e-commerce platforms.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Retail E-commerce team.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in online customer service.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic Excel knowledge (e.g., data entry, sorting/filtering, formatting).
Desirable:
  • Experience with digital shelf management or e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
