Red Bull Powertrains has an exciting opportunity to join our Test Operations team as we transition from building our team’s first Power Units to refining them into a race-ready package, all aimed at delivering the most competitive car on the 2026 Formula One grid. We are seeking a Dyno Support Operator to support with driving the future of motorsport innovation. You will be based at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, designed to produce high-performance Power Units for the 2026 engine regulations.

The Test Operations team pushes the limits of innovation through cutting-edge physical testing, validating Powertrain systems from individual components to complete electrified vehicles. To unlock the full potential of this group, we adopt a fast-moving, technology-driven approach, leveraging advanced test automation, the latest tools and methodologies to deliver world-class performance and precision.

Your Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of all fluids used in Test Operations (fuels, oils, coolants), ensuring correct labelling, storage and compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate deliveries, collections and internal transport of fluids, including safe handling, connection/disconnection of barrels and stock management to support uninterrupted test operations
  • Operate oil analysis and fluid monitoring equipment, recording and reporting results to support test rig and component health assessments
  • Manage consumable stock levels in the oil analysis lab and ensure timely replenishment of essential testing supplies
  • Oversee the segregation, storage and disposal of waste fluids in compliance with environmental and hazardous waste regulations
  • Maintain an effective level of communication with all relevant areas such as engine build, engine strip and engineering
  • Contribute to the long‑term development and efficiency of the departments
  • Provide a flexible approach towards working hours which may include shift patterns and travel to support events in order to meet business demands as/when required
Your experience:
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, maintain tock levels, and plan fluid deliveries to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Sound understanding of fluids used for engine testing and their handling requirements
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with an understanding of basic fluid transfer systems
  • Familiarity with oil analysis and fluid condition monitoring would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of H&S protocols, including COSHH, PPE and spill response
  • Valid forklift truck licence (beneficial)
  • An apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 vocational qualification or higher in Mechanical or Motor Vehicle Engineering is preferable
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency
  • Target orientated working ethic and willingness to learn
