Job summary

A membership organization for global development is seeking an Events Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Events Manager. The role involves managing calendars, sending event invites, maintaining Salesforce contact lists, and tracking meeting notes. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, experience with Salesforce and Mailchimp, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position is office-based in Westminster for 3 days a week with a pay rate of £16.00 - £17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing complex calendars across multiple time zones.
  • Previous knowledge of Salesforce and Mailchimp.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and error-free work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills for prioritisation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Events Manager's busy calendar.
  • Send out invites for events to delegates using Mailchimp.
  • Maintain updated contact lists in Salesforce.
  • Take meeting notes during calls with members.
  • Update member profiles with correspondence.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks with members.
  • Prepare and distribute minutes of working group meetings.
  • Manage communication with working group members.
