A local government council in Loughborough is seeking a reliable Duty Supervisor to support the operation of a busy town hall. The role involves supervising staff during performances and events, ensuring safety, and maintaining high customer service standards. Regular evening and weekend work are required. Applicants should have strong communication, organisational skills and ability to make decisions under pressure. This position is part-time with minimum 4 hours per month.

Loughborough Town Hall is looking to recruit a Duty Supervisor to join our team.
Loughborough Town Hall is an award‑winning, receiving house Theatre, Art gallery and venue, set in the heart of Charnwood in Leicestershire and welcoming over 100,000 people per year.
Hosting over 250 performances and events per year, including an award‑winning annual pantomime, Loughborough Town Hall hosts a varied programme attracting nationally acclaimed acts and productions across the world of drama, musical theatre, comedy, live music and beyond.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Duty Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day operation of Loughborough Town Hall. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of events, maintaining high standards of customer service, and overseeing front‑of‑house operations during performances and events.
The nature of the work will involve the jobholder carrying work outside of normal working hours, with regular evening and weekend availability required.
You will be a confident and proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will remain calm under pressure and be comfortable making decisions in a live event environment. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others around you in upholding the venue’s customer service and delivery standards.
