Overview

Duty Manager, Hotel du Vin – Salary up to £31,500 per annum, 40 hours per week, permanent, Edinburgh. Set shifts, competitive salary, career development. Working across multiple departments, you will be part of the F&B and Front Office teams in our bustling hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the smooth running of all customer-facing departments – from breakfast team, busy check-out period, to checking bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Hands-on management of the Food & Beverage Department.
  • Work alongside the breakfast team, deal with busy check out periods, and collaborate with Housekeeping on room checks.
  • Support the Guest Relations team and stay abreast of local trends around the hotel.
  • Progress to a Head of Department role within Hotel du Vin or a senior HOD role within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience as a senior HoD or experience in a busy Food & Beverage Department.
  • Hands-on manager experience.
  • Knowledge in guest relations or interest in local trends.
