Job summary

A leading independent research institute is seeking a proactive Workplace Manager to oversee facilities operations across Bangor and Lancaster. This role includes managing teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining efficient environments. The successful candidate must have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience and a Health and Safety qualification. Benefits include generous leave allowances and a 10% employer pension contribution. Regular travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Workplace teams at both sites including administration and operations staff.
  • Oversee building and services compliance, health and safety and service contracts.
  • Manage budgets and procurement in line with organisational procedures.
