What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Claydon High School as a Design Technology Technician, working within a strong and supportive team. The post will involve preparing and maintaining resources for teaching staff within the Design Technology teaching team. Other duties will include technical assistance in class when required. We are looking for a confident and committed individual with good communication skills. Ideally the successful candidate will have some relevant background experience in an educational setting. It would be desirable if applicants are able to provide some administrative support to departmental staff and are able to start at 8.30am to prepare resources prior to lessons beginning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain resources for teaching staff within the Design Technology (DT) teaching team.
• Provide technical assistance in class when required.
• Support departmental staff with administrative tasks where possible.
• Assist with resource preparation prior to lessons (starting at 8.30am).
