Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain communication with route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure needs are met.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from customers.
• Picking customer orders and ensuring all orders are correct.
• Coordinate van deliveries and oversee the dispatch of orders.
• Check and put away supplier deliveries, informing about shortages.
• Assist with stock taking and maintaining a clean working environment.

A position has recently become available for a Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch.

Ideally the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.

Driver Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to companys specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
