Responsibilities

• Assist the Driver at all times.
• Obtain necessary documentation for daily runs.
• Check customer routing and prioritise workloads.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collect and move commercial containers.
• Complete electronic paperwork accurately.
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform any other duties as delegated.

Job description

As a PM shift drivers helper, you will start at 3pm based from Duncrue site, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• To provide assistance to the Driver at all times
• Obtain all necessary documentation for the daily runs to ensure efficient operation of the business activities
• Check customer routing for the daily runs, prioritising workloads to ensure all customer commitments are achieved
• Provide excellent customer service that supports the RiverRidge brand
• Due to the physical nature of the role, you will be required to collect and move commercial containers
• Ensure all electronic paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Max 6 penalty points)
• Good Geographical knowledge of NI
• Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience in dealing with customers and members of the public
• Ability to work well with others / Team Player
• Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques
• Flexible approach to working hours to include weekends and Bank Holidays
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience working within the Transport Sector

Further Information

Competitive Hourly Rate - £14.77ph (PM Shift). Annual Bonus scheme available. Overtime rate of Time and a Half for hours worked over 44 hours/Mon-Fri.
