Join our team in Irlam as a Driver Apprentice. You will gain both a Class 1 and Class 2 license alongside your driver CPC, and you will learn valuable life skills to help you with your future career within Transport and Logistics. Start your Driving career with a starting rate of £12.26 per hour plus an unsocial hourly rate.
While starting up as a driver, you will be paired with a more experienced team member who will help you develop your understanding of the job responsibilities and expectations. You will first complete your Class 2 license and work toward earning your Class 1 license. You will work as part of the contract dedicated to customer deliveries and ensure goods are delivered to the correct locations with accurate completion of associated paperwork. You will also be responsible for ensuring daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are reported and remedied to ensure full compliance.
In order to qualify for apprenticeship funding, applicants must have resided in the UK for more than 3 consecutive years. You must meet the following criteria:
