Overview

Empowering Learning is looking to appoint a Drama Teacher / Performing Arts Teacher to work within a Secondary School in the Stourbridge area. This position will start in September 2025 - ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Teaching & Delivering Drama GCSE Curriculum
• Sole focus on delivering high quality Drama lessons each day
• Attend SLT Team Meetings and contribute to key decisions within the Drama Department
• Provided PPA time
• Opportunity for progression with added TLR

Credentials / Requirements

• Previous experience working within a Drama Secondary School Department
• Track record of taking up a leadership role within a School
• Passionate, enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile to help and support students reach their potential
• Experience working with students who have learning difficulties - SEN
• Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team and to think on your feet independently
