Job summary

A drainage service company is seeking a Drainage Engineer to work on domestic and commercial properties in the Midlands and East Anglia. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, a clean driving license, and relevant qualifications. This full-time permanent position requires the ability to work independently, operate equipment, and manage tasks effectively. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience in drainage work.
• Full, clean driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• Ability to work from drawings and meet deadlines.
• Hold CSCS card; preferable qualifications in water jetting and CCTV.

Responsibilities

Job description

Overview

Drainage engineer required to work on domestic and commercial properties to a high quality standard throughout the Midlands and East Anglia. Derby-based.

Responsibilities

• Operate high pressure water jetting units and perform unblocking tasks.
• Be familiar with CCTV operations and surveys; work alone and unsupervised when required.
• Excavation work will also be required.

Qualifications and Experience

• City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent (minimum five years experience).
• Full, clean driving licence, with no more than 3 points.
• Competent in all areas of domestic and commercial drainage; ability to work from drawings and plans; meet deadlines; and work on own initiative.
• Eye for detail; good communication skills; flexible approach to working hours.
• Hold CSCS card; water jetting and CCTV qualifications preferable.
• Experience with lining and patch lining; familiar with CCTV; high pressure water jetting.

Hours and Work Location

Hours: 40 per week minimum, Monday to Friday. Weekends when required and must join a rota call out system for evenings and weekends. Work Location: Remote.
