The Role

Responsible for the domestic services function within hospital and community premises through the effective deployment of staff resources to ensure effective cleaning methods, the control of infection and the promotion of a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors.

  • BICSc qualification in healthcare
  • Qualified to ILM Standard
  • SVQ in cleaning science
  • Experience of working within an NHS environment including awareness of Health & Safety Practices, & COSHH
  • Domestic Services Monitoring experience
  • General awareness of NHS business.
  • Computer Literate
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills – including written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work as an individual and as a team member.

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro‑ra‑ta.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in Hotel Services – Domestic Department within Kello Hospital.

The working pattern for this role is 15:30‑20:00 Mon – Thurs, 15:30‑19:42 Friday.
