Domestic Services Supervisor

The Domestic Services Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Domestic Services Supervisor.

At the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust we provide healthcare services across Devon and beyond.

Job responsibilities

As an individual with previous supervisor experience the successful candidate will offer full supervisory support to the daily operational running of the department. You will need to be focused, hard working, reliable and an excellent team player. Duties will include daily allocation of duties to staff, carrying out cleaning monitoring duties, staff performance and attendance management, as well as management of stores and supplies.

In accordance with the National Specifications of Cleanliness in the NHS 2025 and other healthcare cleanliness associated documentation, the post holder’s key objective will be to maintain the high standards of cleanliness of the environment and patient equipment in various ward areas on site.

Staff uniform and additional training will be provided. Development opportunities are available for those wishing to pursue a career in the NHS.

Working Pattern: 06:00‑14:00 and 14:00‑22:00. Rotating shifts working two weekends out of three (inclusive of bank holidays).
