Domestic Assistant

Flexibility: Working ad hoc shifts through the NHS Professionals Bank across multiple sites. Locations include Hinckley Health Centre (LE10 1DS) and Hinckley Hospital (LE10 1AG). Pay rate: £12.51 per hour.

About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant, you will be the cornerstone of cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors with strict adherence to infection control protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas as part of the infection control team.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with departmental staff, line managers and patients.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Experience in a domestic or similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety protocols.
