Job summary

A leading data security governance company in the UK is seeking a Distribution Business Manager responsible for managing and enabling key distributors. The role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, facilitating training and communication, and on-site engagement. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in the Microsoft channel ecosystem with strong management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The position offers a full-time employment contract.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of revenue through UK & I distribution partners.
  • Act as the distributor's advocate and liaison to the AvePoint account team.
  • Create and execute strategic growth plans with each distributor.
  • Identify and define key growth opportunities within each distributor.
  • Be on site at each distributor at least 1 day per month.
  • Upskill and train distribution Account Executives / Account Managers.
  • Facilitate the movement of direct business through distribution.
  • Represent and build AvePoint's public channel brand.

About the role :

The Distribution Business Manager is responsible for the management and enablement of key distributors across the UK & I Region with the aim of maintaining and growing the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) from each of the distributors.

Working alongside management and the partner development manager the Distribution Business Manager is responsible for the management and enablement of distributors while also acting as the conduit between AvePoint and the distributor ultimately to create the strongest partnership that is mutually beneficial.

Key responsibilities :
  • Drive growth of revenue through UK & I distribution partners.
  • Act as the distributors advocate and liaison to the AvePoint account team.
  • Create and execute strategic growth plans with each distributor in question in line with financial and qualitative goals.
  • Identify and define key growth opportunities within each Distributor either as part of their existing go to market or as part of a new bespoke go to market.
  • Be on site at each distributor at least 1 day per month (4 days per month total).
  • Upskill and train distribution Account Executives / Account Managers on the value of AvePoint our platform and the alignment with M365.
  • Facilitate the movement of direct business through distribution.
  • Represent and build AvePoints public channel brand through participation in industry events webinars blitz days etc.
  • Manage a pipeline of distribution sourced business.
What you will bring to our team :

  • Exceptional listener highly empathetic to partner needs and perspectives
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong communication and listening skills to articulate company vision product changes and adapting to new strategies
