Job summary

A leading educational institution is seeking Dissertation Supervisors to guide students in writing their dissertations. Responsibilities include providing academic support and feedback on dissertation drafts. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree, experience in higher education, and strong interpersonal skills. This role involves supervising up to 20 students, with a compensation of £250 per student. The position requires regular contact and encouragement for independent scholarly development. Qualifications

  • Qualified to at least a Masters Level degree in a related discipline area.
  • Demonstrable experience in academic research and dissertation supervision.
  • Experience of working in Higher Education.

Responsibilities

  • Support students in defining and refining their research questions and objectives.
  • Advise on appropriate research methodologies and ethical considerations.
  • Guide students in conducting literature reviews and sourcing relevant materials.
