Overview

We are seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to join a leading social housing provider in North London. As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing disrepair issues within residential properties, ensuring compliance with Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and relevant legal standards. You will work closely with tenants, contractors, and management to oversee repairs and ensure properties meet the required living standards.

Location: Bedfordshire
Contract: Temporary
Pay: £46.12 Hour, Umbrella.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough inspections of properties to assess disrepair and safety issues.
  • Producing detailed reports on disrepair findings and recommendations for remedial action.
  • Managing repairs and coordinating with contractors to ensure works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant legislation, including HHSRS.
  • Liaising with tenants and landlords to communicate progress and resolve issues.
  • Ensuring that properties meet safety and habitability standards in line with social housing regulations.

  • Proven experience as a Disrepair Surveyor within social housing.
