Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Clevedon is seeking a Dispatch Operative to manage the final stages of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include preparing goods for dispatch, liaising with logistics, and maintaining documentary records. Ideal candidates will have experience in regulated environments and a counterbalance forklift licence. This is a temporary ongoing position offering a salary of £15.31 per hour, with regular hours from 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Previous work in regulated, high-security settings, including aviation or dockside environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare goods for dispatch with accurate documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers and internal teams.
• Pack systems and handle loading/unloading.
• Record inventory and manage SAP documentation.
• Maintain health, safety, and quality standards.

Skills

Counterbalance Forklift Licence

Previous warehouse/dispatch experience

Strong attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication

Computer literate

SAP knowledge

Experience in high-security environments
