Overview

We are seeking a motivated and highly organised individual to join the Neurosciences Directorate and lead the administration team for neurosurgery, paediatric neurosurgery and rehabilitation services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to develop their operational management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a large administrative team and be the key contact between Clinicians, staff and patients across all services.
  • Manage patient pathways to meet Nationally mandated NHS targets and provide daily support to the administrative staff.
  • Maintain effective communication across the team.
  • Report on key metrics within the department and present to Trust in various forums.
  • Provide leadership and management to the administrative teams within the Neurosurgery, Paediatric Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation Services ensuring that key targets are met and deliver care to our patient groups.
  • Undertake the analysis and interpretation of complex information from a range of sources highlighting trends and/or inconsistencies.
