Lead the sales strategy and operations for a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, driving growth and maintaining market leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace.
  • Manage and develop future and repeat business, increasing market/share in all revenue streams.
  • Identify business leads through market analysis.
  • Develop customer accounts and local travel initiatives to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster.
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media.
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Work within existing business strategies and recognize potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience and build comprehensive sales programmes.
  • Attend sales events as required.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointments, calls, and business leads.
  • Answer customer queries promptly and professionally.
  • Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the sales team.
