HireIQ are delighted to be working with a long standing client as they hire for an Indirect Tax accountant. Our client is a industry leading business and you will be based in the Craigavon area.

Now is a great time to join their team as they look to further add to their finance function. This is an ideal role for someone who is Newly Qualified or 1-3 years post qualified & keen to take their step up in their career!

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit periodic financial and tax reporting, including statutory filings and submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, including balance sheet reconciliations and tax postings.
  • Assist with corporation tax computations, instalment payments, and compliance obligations.
  • Ensure consistency of accounting policies and controls.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects, providing financial and tax expertise.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes, leveraging ERP and IT skills.
  • Support and coach junior team members, fostering collaboration and best practice.
Requirements
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA with 2 years post qualification experience, or qualified by experience
  • Strong knowledge/experience in US GAAP advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who can work collaboratively
