Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the implementation and configuration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong data manipulation and coding skills (SQL, AMPScript, JavaScript, HTML).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical or data issues.
  • Experience setting up and delivering campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar tools.
  • Understanding of data protection legislation in direct marketing.

Summary

We are looking for a Direct Communications Executive to join our Customer Journeys team. This role involves building and delivering direct communication and marketing campaigns using automation and data platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalisation and Salesforce Data Cloud. The advertised salary is inclusive of a 10% reviewable market supplement; base salary will be £37,000, with the market supplement as an allowance on top.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Automation Manager, you will be part of a team of marketing automation specialists within the Customer Journeys team. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, with an expectation to attend the office, though flexibility is possible. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop workflows with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Personalisation.
  • Deliver 6 million email and direct mail communications monthly and deploy personalized experiences on our website.
  • Build robust, repeatable campaigns, journeys and personalized experiences with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Membership and Fundraising teams to embed best practice in an agile environment.
  • Translate data briefs into campaign workflows that include customised segmentation, A/B testing, personalization and tracking logic.
  • Employ campaign optimisation and measurement techniques.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the implementation and configuration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong data manipulation and coding skills (SQL, AMPScript, JavaScript, HTML).
  • Familiarity with manipulation of customer data within a relational database.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical or data issues related to the setup or delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Experience setting up and delivering campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools such as Adobe Campaign or Pardot.
  • Experience delivering personalized experiences across both email and web.
  • Understanding of data protection legislation and its practical application in direct marketing.
  • Understanding of digital customer journeys.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adpt at dealing with change.
