A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Buyer for an office-based role in Cheshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of solid purchasing experience and be proficient in SAP. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts with suppliers and managing procurement tasks within set deadlines. We are looking for an buyer who has real world experiencing with negotiating suppliers / contracts for a site in Cheshire.
This is an office-based role ( sorry, no hybrid) working within a small finance team.
You will be using SAP, negotiating contracts with suppliers, buying goods and services within set timescales and updating various stakeholders.
A nice mix of purchasing and buying but it's important that you have already 12 months solid buying experience.
This is initially a 12 month fixed term contact but there is every chance that this could lead to something longer.
The perfect person will be local to Cheshire, be happy with an office-based role and have real world purchasing / buying experience.
