Job summary

A non-profit digital inclusion organization is seeking a Digital Skills Trainer to help older and disabled individuals build confidence and skills in using technology. This role involves delivering both group and one-on-one training sessions, both online and in-person. Ideal candidates will have strong training experience, IT proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting a diverse audience. This is a UK-wide role, requiring travel within Scotland.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in delivering group and 1:1 training or presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience of representing organisations externally and building effective relationships.
  • Strong digital literacy and IT skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Experience of working with disabled adults and older people.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the specified region.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver group and one-to-one sessions to help adults build digital skills.
  • Empower learners to navigate everyday technology with independence.
  • Engage and motivate learners in both online and in-person settings.
