About the role

The role is critical to ensuring the Digital Transformation programme lands successfully for business teams and our customers. It will take ownership of specific programme releases and co‑ordinate all associated business transition activities across Digital, Marketing, Healthcare, Stores and Supply Chain, and will work closely with IT to create and deliver a release plan (or plans) for our business. You will work with specialists in Business Change and Business Architecture and IT colleagues and our HR partners to ensure all activities are identified and organised into the business delivery plan for the release(s) for which you are responsible. You’ll then ensure these plans are delivered, identifying and addressing risks and issues as needed, working closely with the Condor & Digital leadership teams.

The role reports to the Digital Senior Manager for business transition and will provide holiday/absence cover for that role and may support other Digital activities as needed. The role has no direct reports but works closely with a large number of people across the programme and organisation.

What you’ll need to have
  • You are extremely organised and experienced in project and/or programme management
  • Must have experience of creating and managing large complex plans involving multiple teams/functions and a wide variety of different activities including technology implementation
  • Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, and challenging stakeholders
  • Confident, flexible and unflappable and will challenge when deadlines are not met or standards not achieved
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and good attention to detail
  • Works well with others and experienced in working cross‑functionality with a diverse range of people – including effectively holding others to account when needed
  • Able to follow guidelines & process but know when these can/should be flexed
  • Experience of project and programme management methodologies
  • Confident user of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint and Excel
It would be great if you also have
