Job Description:

The Opportunity:

The Digital Marketing Specialist, SEM deploys and analyzes digital marketing initiatives in Paid Search (PPC), Display Advertising, and related areas. The specialist will support digital advertising activities in the EU region, and assist in other regions as needed.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Search Engine Marketing strategy and deployment
  • Assist with building SEM campaigns
  • Identify keywords with the most opportunity, optimize match types, and select the best final URL for conversions
  • Analyze customer behavior and heatmaps on Google Analytics to identify advertising opportunities
  • Create personalized ad copy tailored to customer attributes and behaviors
  • Build analytics dashboards for SEM campaigns, analyze results, and recommend improvements
  • Conduct keyword and topic research using SEO/SEM tools like SEMrush, Moz Pro, Google Ads
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize campaigns across products and areas
  • Identify trends to improve ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Support digital marketing team with paid advertising projects to maximize ROI and customer growth
  • Build dashboards reporting on paid advertising metrics and insights
  • Stay updated on latest advertising trends and PPC strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 5 years of hands-on SEM experience
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or similar

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of e-marketing channels and best practices for SEM, SEO, Content Marketing

Skills/Tools:

  • Google Ads/Bing Ads: keyword research, ad copy, campaign management
  • Google Ads Editor: campaign and ad management
  • Google Analytics and other analytics tools
  • SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz, AHREFs
  • Content and ad copy writing skills

Additional Skills:

  • Experience working with large datasets (>1 million keywords) in Excel or SQL
  • Familiarity with eCommerce metrics

Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-driven, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand and immerse in product stories for campaigns
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Capable of managing multiple projects independently

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office environment, normal lighting and ventilation
  • Workload and deadlines may cause routine strain
  • Potential domestic travel, unlikely international
  • Flexible working hours expected
  • Mostly sedentary work, with light physical activity as needed
