About the role

We are recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our client team at Barclays, working directly within their B2C Performance team on a range of multi-channel campaigns and projects.

  • Experience with in-app banner advertising and customer journeys
  • Familiar with Tableau or similar reporting platforms
  • Ability to analyse key performance metrics and identify optimisation and testing opportunities
  • Experience defining audiences and collaborating with targeting teams to reach relevant prospects
  • Ability to prompt AI tools to create effective short form copy

As an experienced Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll deliver multi-variant marketing communications across a variety of digital channels, both paid and owned. You’ll have the skills to hit the ground running and add value from the outset. You’ll be comfortable using in-app advertising, customer journeys, and Tableau or similar reporting platforms to analyse metrics and identify optimisation opportunities. You’ll have experience defining audiences and collaborating with targeting teams to reach relevant prospects and, ideally, prompting AI tools to create effective short form copy.

What you will be doing
  • Creating and producing campaigns that differentiate Barclays through superior targeting, communication strategy, tech innovation, and creative quality
  • Collaborating with the wider Marketing Centre of Excellence to ensure communications align with product messaging, customer focus, brand guidelines, and governance frameworks
  • Managing budgets to maximise return on investment and drive commercial performance as measured by solutions growth and cost per acquisition
  • Keeping campaigns on time and on plan
  • Working with business stakeholders to develop roadmaps and testing designs
  • Managing relationships with Barclays UK Digital, Product & Marketing teams and external agency partners
  • Leading the campaign delivery lifecycle from ideation to in-channel execution
  • Reporting on campaign performance and testing outcomes using Tableau or a similar platform
  • Collaborating across the team to foster a positive Performance Marketing culture
  • Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with regular updates and clear recommendations to drive performance
  • Being a self-starter, bringing proactive opportunities and solutions
  • Demonstrating a customer-first mindset and taking ownership of risks and controls
  • Ensuring high accuracy across all communications and QA standards
  • Engaging in sustainability training relevant to the role
What you need to be great in this role
  • Confident, smart, enthusiastic and proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with positive energy, capable of working collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Extensive digital marketing experience across paid media channels with end-to-end delivery understanding
  • Experience working with media agencies and identifying opportunities to optimise paid media plans and channel selection (in-app and online banking)
  • Experience unlocking underutilised capability with paid media platforms and channels
  • Knowledge of pixels, tracking and tagging technologies and their role
  • Experience reporting and analysing performance data to identify optimisation opportunities using Tableau or similar
  • Experience in in-app banner advertising and customer journeys
  • Experience defining audiences and collaborating with targeting teams
  • Ability to prompt AI tools to create effective short form copy
  • Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, plan effectively, and deliver to plan
