Job summary

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Diabetes specialist Dietitian to join the multidisciplinary team at Ealing Hospital. The role involves providing evidence-based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes, supporting student training, and leading clinical development projects. Candidates must possess a degree in Dietetics and HCPC registration, with significant clinical experience preferred. The position is permanent, full-time, Band 7, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Significant relevant post graduate clinical experience.
  • Experience of working as part of a diabetes MDT.
  • Experience of student training.
  • Experience of MDT patient teaching.
  • Experience conducting audit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence based dietetic advice to adults with diabetes.
  • Involve in carbohydrate counting education, insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring.
  • Deliver one-to-one clinics and diabetes group education, including DAFNE and carbohydrate counting sessions.
  • Support the Dietetic team lead and develop the dietetic service.
  • Lead on clinical and service development projects, audit and research.
