Overview

DevOps Engineer - Wearables A new role has become available for a DevOps Engineer at a company which is developing cutting edge wearable payments technology. With this payment solution being used by financial institutions, wearable manufacturers as well as events and stadium owners, the possible applications of this secure payment technology are endless. This role is ideal for a junior-mid level engineer hoping to expand their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining both cloud and physical infrastructure.
• For the cloud side, working with AWS.
• Occasionally travelling to the datacentre to support physical infrastructure.
• Own and drive forward DevOps projects within the company.
• Utilise AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, Elastic Beanstalk, Route 53, Lambda, CloudFront, AWS Firewall Manager, Terraform, Certificate Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and SNS/SQS.

Qualifications

• AWS experience.
• Cisco and Juniper switches / firewalls.
• Linux based servers or similar.
