Join our dynamic IT Automation team and leverage your extensive technical expertise and leadership abilities to propel our organization forward. We seek an experienced DevOps Engineer who can drive innovation and quality in our cloud automation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the design, development, and deployment of cutting‑edge cloud automation solutions leveraging AWS services.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, cultivating an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to architect robust cloud systems and ensure smooth integration of automated solutions.
  • Stay abreast of evolving cloud automation trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the formulation of cloud automation strategies and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrate expert‑level proficiency in AWS data engineering, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Provide substantial contributions to batch analytics, Python, and data engineering initiatives.
  • Utilize Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, and Elasticsearch for comprehensive monitoring and alerting.
  • Engage actively in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
  • Implement SRE principles to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Showcase a solid grasp of Java, JavaScript, and other pertinent technologies for full‑stack applications.
Qualifications
  • Possess practical experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) tools.
  • Exhibit a strong command over AI/ML concepts and their application in DevOps practices.
  • Present a proven track record of delivering high‑quality cloud automation solutions in a professional setting.
  • Exemplify exceptional communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Extensive experience in cloud automation, particularly with AWS services, HashiCorp Terraform, and other relevant tools.
  • Masterful proficiency in AI/ML, AI Operations, and NLP concepts.
  • Proven success in delivering top‑tier cloud automation solutions in a professional context.
  • Superb communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Robust foundation in Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies for full‑stack applications.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • In‑depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and delivery practices.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have the valid right to work in the UK, be a resident in the UK, have lived continuously in the UK for the last 10 years, and be able to hold or gain a UK government security clearance.
