Our SE based client develop and manufacture a range of cosmetic and personal care products, they are currently recruiting for a Development Chemist to work on a variety of formulation projects, leading to product scale-up and manufacture.

This role will involve both hands on laboratory formulation practical work and project management

Additional Duties Will Include

• Managing a variety of formulation projects, delivering against objectives
• Liaising with key internal and external technical departments including Quality, Manufacturing , NPD, Regulatory
• Supporting product innovation, generating ideas for novel and future products
• Understanding current packaging designs , modifying / developing new designs as necessary
• Supervising / training another member of the technical team
