We’re looking for a talented, versatile and social‑media‑minded Designer to join our creative team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, digitally native environment and has a knack for creating content that resonates with today’s audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing, with a keen understanding of what works on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You will contribute to a variety of music and brand campaigns, creating visually stunning content that stands out, sparks engagement, and has the potential to go viral.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing (Premiere Pro)
- Edit and optimise videos for social media platforms, including adapting formats for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Cut raw footage into engaging edits, applying sound design, colour grading, and subtitles to create polished outputs.
- Produce dynamic, short‑form videos tailored for maximum engagement, including trailers, highlight reels, and compilations.
- Experience creating social first short form content with knowledge of social media formats and guidelines, including platform safe zone requirements for text and graphics.
Graphic Design (Photoshop)
- Design and produce social media assets (e.g., posters, lyric graphics, social banners, promotional images) that capture attention and are optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Photo retouching, photo manipulation and layout design, maintaining high quality and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
Motion Design (After Effects)
- Animate static visuals and create dynamic motion graphics from scratch for social media posts, stories, and ads.
- Experiment with animation styles to keep content fresh, ensuring it aligns with social media trends.
Viral Content Creation
- Develop innovative, trend‑aligned content with a deep understanding of social media behaviours and platform algorithms.
- Create visually captivating posts, videos, and animations that spark conversation and have the potential to go viral.
- Work closely with the social strategy team to tailor content to the target audience, ensuring it resonates and maximises reach and engagement.
Deck Design (Keynote)
- Refine and polish Keynote presentations, ensuring branding, font styles, sizes, and colour schemes are consistent and visually aligned.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Essential
- Strong proficiency and demonstrable experience in:
- Adobe Photoshop for creating campaign visuals and editing photos.
- After Effects for motion design and animating static assets.
- Premiere Pro for video editing, colour grading and creating social‑first video content.
- Editing apps like CapCut or other mobile editing tools, bringing fresh, viral‑worthy content ideas to life.
- Familiarity with Keynote for designing and refining professional decks.
- Familiarity with social media trends and best practices for creating engaging visuals on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with creating short form social media content and knowledge of social media formats and guidelines, including platform safe zone requirements for text and graphics.
- A sharp and creative eye for design, with the ability to deliver work that is both visually captivating and on‑brand.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and ability to work under pressure with quick turnarounds.
- A passion for visual storytelling and creating content that engages social media audiences.
