Design Technology Teacher needed in Leeds

Are you a committed and dedicated Design Technology Teacher? Are you looking for a new challenge in a supportive and progressive school?

A Leeds based secondary school is looking to recruit a Design Technology Teacher to enrich the learning and development of their KS3 & KS4 students. The school is looking for a Teacher who capable of creating engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Design Technology lessons for KS3 and KS4.
  • Demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills.
  • Under the guidance of the Head of Department, undertake planning and assessment duties.
  • May be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with SEND students.
Qualifications
  • UK Accredited QTS essential.
  • Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary school setting.
