Design Manager - Main Contractor
London Bridge | £65,000 - £75,000 + package + perks

An experienced regional contractor, c.£50m turnover, is seeking a Design Manager to join their London Bridge office. This medium-sized main contractor delivers new build, design & build, and refurbishment schemes across London and the South-East, covering sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, offices, super-prime residential and standard residential. Projects typically range from £2m - £15m in value.

Responsibilities

• Manage design process from pre-construction through delivery
• Lead design meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and technical standards
• Coordinate design information between internal teams and external consultants
• Support bids, tenders and design presentations
• Oversee value engineering and buildability reviews
• Manage design risk and resolve technical queries on site
