The Role

We're looking for a Design Engineer / Estimator to support the development of high-quality, bespoke products, with a strong focus on design-led solutions for the hospitality sector. This role blends creativity with technical and commercial thinking, helping transform new products from functional equipment into well-designed, furniture‑style pieces.

You’ll be involved from early concept through to final costing and delivery, with real influence over both design direction and commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Designing new and bespoke products with a strong furniture‑style aesthetic
  • Developing concepts through to detailed CAD drawings and production‑ready designs
  • Producing accurate estimates, bills of materials, and quotations for bespoke hospitality projects
  • Working closely with sales, production, project teams, and suppliers to ensure designs are practical and cost‑effective
  • Selecting materials, finishes, and fixings with a balance of design, durability, and budget
  • Managing design documentation, revisions, and costing to support smooth project delivery
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in product design or a Design Engineer role
  • Strong CAD capability, including detailed drawings and 3D models
  • Good understanding of materials, joinery, and fabrication methods
  • Ability to balance aesthetics with manufacturability and cost
