Responsibilities

• Design Jigs/Fixtures and modify tooling CAD using Autodesk PowerShape.
• Provide Customer DFM support for changes to existing products.

• Oversee manufacturing of Tooling to meet company standards.
• Share a Timing Plan to keep customers updated weekly.
• Provide detailed specifications for Processes and Procedures.
• Work with Production and Quality Departments to drive improvements.
• Co‑ordinate with other Departments in project administration.
• Read and analyse component and associated technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design Jigs/Fixtures and modify tooling CAD using Autodesk PowerShape (training provided if required).
• Provide Customer DFM support for changes to existing products and new enquiries/projects.
• Support the Sales team with pricing for both existing products and new projects.
• Support the NPI team where required in all technical activities.
• Liaise with Customers and Suppliers to provide relevant information to enable efficient project implementation.
• Oversee the manufacturing of Tooling, Jigs and Fixtures to ensure they meet company standards.
• Share a Timing Plan to keep customers up to date on a weekly basis.
• Provide detailed and accurate specifications to assist in the development of relevant Processes and Procedures by Engineering / Production.
• Work with Production and Quality Departments to drive process improvements for existing customer products.
• Co‑ordinate and liaise with other associated Departments, namely Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Sales in respect of project administration.
• Roles may alter in line with business / operational needs.
• Read and analyse component and associated technical drawings (tooling).
• Use CAD – PowerShape knowledge and experience advantageous.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Work to deadlines and on own initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Proficient in all associated Microsoft packages.
• Full UK Driving License.
