Are you an ambitious Design Engineer looking to develop your technical expertise with a market‑leading provider of water efficiency technology?

Do you want to work on major commercial rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling projects while building your Revit and AutoCAD capability within a specialist design team?

My client is one of the longest established and leading suppliers of water efficiency technologies across the UK and France. With a strong reputation in rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling solutions for large commercial, residential and industrial properties, they pride themselves on innovation, engineering quality and long‑term technical expertise. Their success is driven by their talented people, and due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to expand their technical department with a dedicated Design Engineer.

In this role, you will support the design process from feasibility through to detailed design and tender stage, producing technical specifications, feasibility proposals and system designs for water reclamation systems. You will create schematic drawings using AutoCAD, assist with 3D coordination modelling in Revit, manage tender quotations, and support key relationships with contractors and consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close‑knit technical team where you will be supported to grow into a more senior, technical leadership position over time.

The ideal candidate will have engineering work experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and some exposure to Revit (beneficial but not essential). You should have a relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent), strong understanding of the design and construction process, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Candidates commuting long distances will not be considered due to the office‑based nature of the role.
