Overview

Design Engineer — Senior Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer seeking to work in a fast growth technology SME (electro-mechanical) near Ashby Leicestershire.

Salary guide: £50,000 - £55,000.

Role and responsibilities

This is a highly varied design engineer role; you will be 50% to 60% CAD / design engineering and 40% to 50% of your time focusing on how to improve the business with mechanical design, design for manufacture, setting mechanical design standards, etc. If you are ambitious and want to elevate to a Senior mechanical engineer role, this would be well suited.
