Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Support the CAMHS Eating Disorders (ED) Clinical Team Manager in the delivery of specialist assessment and treatment.
  • Work alongside the Clinical Team Manager in the management and further development of the ED CAMHS team by developing clinical structures, recruiting staff and implementing the service.
  • Deputize for the Clinical Team Manager when required.
  • Provide a safe, effective and therapeutic clinical team ensuring the delivery of assessment and intervention.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust performance management system for the team.
  • Be responsible for line management, case supervision and appraisal of team colleagues.
About the Role

We are looking for a Deputy Team Manager for our CAMHS Eating Disorders Service in Oxfordshire. The role is ideal for someone seeking new challenges or looking to broaden their experience. Previous experience in mental health/NHS is preferable, but transferable skills from other backgrounds are welcome.

As part of the operational team, you will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver a responsive, high‑quality and safe service. You are expected to provide effective leadership and manage resources so that staff are supported and can prioritise patient care. Organisation, forward‑thinking, enthusiasm, motivation and teamwork are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and clear communication are required.
