What You'll Be Doing
  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
  • Be a trusted key holder and step confidently into leadership in the Manager's absence
  • Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding practice
  • Lead on learning and development strategies for children and staff
  • Champion our inclusive, outdoor-rich, child-led curriculum
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community
  • Help drive enrolment and build the nursery's local reputation
  • Stay up to date with legislation and be a safeguarding champion across the setting
What We're Looking For

We're searching for a motivated, reflective leader with the passion and purpose to deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families and staff.

  • Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • 2+ years' experience in a nursery setting, with previous leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and best practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Ability to inspire, support and develop others
  • A calm, flexible approach with a "solutions not problems" mindset
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
