Deputy Home Manager — Burton-On-Trent
Pay: £22.14 – £23.14 per hour | Hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
- Lead a team delivering exceptional, person-centred care, mentoring colleagues and ensuring residents receive the highest standards of support.
- Champion safeguarding and inclusivity, maintaining a safe, respectful, and diverse environment for residents and staff.
- Take on responsibility and professional growth by overseeing clinical care, supervising the team in the Manager’s absence, and developing leadership skills.
- Deliver exceptional clinical care, provide specialist nursing advice, supervise and coach colleagues, and lead the home in the Manager’s absence.
- Recognise, report, and escalate safeguarding concerns to maintain the highest standards of resident safety and wellbeing.
- Foster an inclusive, diverse, and supportive workplace where every team member feels valued and empowered.
Qualifications
- Valid NMC Pin.
- Strong knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice.
- Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home.
- Positive energy, kindness, and the ability to build relationships; capable of mentoring colleagues and managing time effectively.
- Ability to maintain meaningful records.
