A leading charity for children and young people in the UK is seeking a Deputy Manager to run a residential service. This role involves managing a diverse team, ensuring high-quality care for young individuals, and promoting their independence. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and a commitment to safeguarding children. As a Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the manager in the running of a 16+ residential service, deputising when the manager is not available, to ensure the delivery of high quality transition services for young people, promoting their independence and increasing life skills. You will be responsible for the management of our enthusiastic and diverse team, including Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers. Recruitment process: At St Christopher's we are committed to the safeguarding of all children and young people in our care. During the recruitment process you will be expected to complete an online application form to ensure we capture essential information to meet legislation, best practice and vetting requirements. Applicants will ideally already be on the DBS Update Service; if this is not the case St Christopher's will carry out a DBS (police) check prior to starting.
