Overview
This position will play its role as the most senior and responsible person to ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
- To lead the Accounts Department and ensuring errorless Accounting/Financial tasks.
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Developing and managing budgets for various departments or projects within the organization.
- Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date record-keeping of financial transactions in the general ledger.
- Supervising the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer collections.
- Managing Tax/VAT compliance and ensuring that the organization meets all Tax/VAT obligations.
- Establishing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Coordinating and participating in financial audit.
- Managing the organization’s cash flow to ensure it has enough liquidity to meet its financial obligations.
- Ensuring compliance with financial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Preparing and submitting required financial reports to regulatory authorities.
- Leading and managing a team of accounting professionals, including setting goals and performance evaluations.
- Communicating with the top management and updating financial information time to time.
- Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of financial management software and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Any other tasks as and when required by the management from time to time.
