Randstad is currently partnering with a prominent regional private organisation, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for children and young people. We are seeking a resilient, compassionate, and organised Deputy Manager to join their leadership team within a residential children's home in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

This is a pivotal role where you will support the Service Manager in creating a safe, nurturing environment that empowers young people to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Assuming full responsibility for the service in the manager's absence and providing daily supervision to the staff team.
  • Direct Support: Working alongside your team to deliver high-quality care, including undertaking personal care tasks and responding to emergency calls.
  • Outcome Management: Developing, reviewing, and observing care plans to ensure every young person's specific needs and goals are met.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Building professional relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Culture & Compliance: Maintaining a positive team culture while ensuring all work aligns with organisational policies, data protection, and safeguarding legislation.
